Bio
Koppen & Jorkjen is a Norwegian performance duo consisting of visual artists Finn Adrian Jorkjen and Henrik Koppen.
For more than a decade Koppen & Jorkjen have been working with ritualistic performances, exhibitions and audio dramas. Each work becomes a part of their world building practice and expansive personal mythology. They combine elements from religion, pagan tradition and popular culture. In their work they pose fundamental questions around identity, creation, death and fertility from a queer perspective.
Noteable presentations include: Høstutstillingen 2025 (NO), KUBE art museum (NO), Heimdal Kunstforening (NO), Kannski Gallery (IS) and Nordic Culture Point (FI).
Finn Adrian Jorkjen (b. 1990), Arendal, Norway) is an artist working with performance, text and video. He holds a BFA from Kunstakademiet i Trondheim, NTNU and MFA from Oslo National Academy of the Arts, KHIO.
Henrik Koppen (b.1990 in Volda, Norway) is an artist working with performance, sculpture, video and sound. He holds a BFA in fine arts from Bergen Academy of Art and Design and an MA in performing arts from Iceland University of the Arts.
